Parrots and Freedom(Twist yourself to break the bars)

We are living in a world where everyone wants freedom. We think freedom is Going out without anyone getting bothered, Dating, Eating, Drinking, speaking, buying whatever we want, and many other things

This is materialistic freedom that gives you a temporary " a-bird-out-of-a-cage-feeling" but in actuality, you are caged, CAGED BY YOUR OWN THOUGHTS... A PERPETUAL LOOP YOU GET STUCK IN.

Attaining freedom is like trading your present peace of mind(materialistic/temporary) to achieve future peace of mind(spiritual/permanent). Being at peace is freedom. Acceptance of a situation and fighting for it is freedom. Focusing on selective and important things rather than unnecessary things is freedom

A Parrot taught me freedom

I had a parrot named gifty. I bought it for some bucks with a beautiful green-colored big cage and kept it for days and taught it to speak. It learned to say "hi" when someone entered the room and say "bye" when someone left. I used to provide it with good quality food, care, and love. I loved it very much. But one day, beyond that love and care, Gifty broke the bars. He twisted himself in ways that he got out of the bars. It got some cuts on its body but it came out and flew in the sky, squawking "BYE" "BYE "BYE".

I was astonished watching him. The way he adopted to get free, Even if I would have tried to stop it, It still would have flown anytime. This taught me a lesson, Freedom gives you cuts and wounds. But these wounds don't matter when you have a big sky in front of you to fly.

The first step to freedom is - Break the chains of your own thoughts. You, yourself are your jailer and you yourself are the gate opener. When you are free from your own thoughts, No one in this world, absolutely no one could ever chain you.....

Either be the master of your thoughts or become the slave of your thoughts... Once you are a slave, You will never be free no matter how much you go out, drink, date, wear brands ... You will always be a slave.

CHOICE IS YOURS...

Arts of a manager

It's been a month since my journey in management started. There are new things unfolding themselves. Till now I have observed 2 things that seem very important to becoming a good manager  1. The art of observation: When it comes to getting out productivity from the team, You first have to understand the work nature of each member on the team. You have to think like each and every one of them and try to be a different person to everyone. Every day you put your feet in the shoes of each one of them. You have to become a multi-personality person at the same time  Thus constant observation is necessary. Until you reach the root of their behavior in different situations, Getting the work done by them is pretty difficult. I am still working on it as it is a very long chapter  2. Prioritization Your team is totally dependent on you when it comes to information. Whatever you communicate will be worked upon by them. At the end of the day, The output depends upon the inform...

EXPLORE YOURSELF

Life is full of wrong and right turns. You have to pass through these turns to get to the right path.  Sometimes na, it happens .... it happens that before getting to the right path, we take some wrong turns. It is called EXPLORATION You are probably in the exploration stage of your life , where you are taking turns, staying there for a while, and observing things. And now you have started feeling stuck. By the way, Feeling stuck is good. It is a reminder, HEY, TIME TO TAKE THE NEXT TURN !!! and   BELIEVE ME!!! It's worth taking. When you move, you GROW and become a better DECISION MAKER . You become more EXPERIENCED.  Experience is the best teacher and Movement is an important aspect of life. Move but don't run. Move- experience-learn at your own pace -  INTERNAL EXPLORATION.  Remember, Every time, switching situations don't help.... in turn.... it might get you stuck in another situation. Maybe, some aspects of that situation need to be changed and not ...

Those 11 rules from the book "IKIGAI"

Life is precious. You rule your life when you live it with discipline and the right principles. Below are some of the points from the book "IKIGAI" that could help us lead a good life. 1. Follow an 80-20 rule while eating. Always eat 80% and leave 20% stomach empty. So that your digestive system doesn't have to work much on digesting your meals. This Keeps you active. 2. When you work on something, always keep distracting things away. This helps you to attain a state of flow which in turn helps you get better concentration and pay attention to the minute details 3. Taking too much stress make your body age faster 4. If you keep sitting for more than 30-40 minutes, The mechanism of the body slows down. It turns lethargic.  5. Walk for at least 20 mins in the morning every day.   6. Follow a POMODORO principle while working. 25 mins of work, 5 mins of break makes 1 POMODORO. Make 4 POMODOROS and take a longer break.
